FIRST SECURITY COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT 

 

First Security prides itself in its community involvement. Last year the bank donated more than $10,000 to the following organizations: ANSU, United Way of Floyd County, American Cancer Society, PAWS, and the Charles City Community Revitalization effort.  

 

While First Security is a family-oriented business, the staff is also very community-minded. “During 2007 our employees offered over 2,060 hours of volunteer time in area schools, organizations and churches,” commented Kurt Herbrechtsmeyer. “The bank supports community events and we know it means a lot to the communities we serve that our staff is also involved at many of these events,” he added.
