Bill Frye joined First Security’s Trust and Investment Department as Trust Officer in 2008. He has been a respected attorney in Charles City since 1977, with substantial experience in the practice of Trust and Estate Law. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and was a director of First Citizens Trust Company from 1994 until 2008. Frye’s considerable experience and expertise allows First Security to continue to provide superior service to our Trust and Investment customers.
After receiving his law degree from University of Iowa Frye returned to Charles City to practice privately. He is a member of the Iowa Bar Association. He also served as a Floyd County Magistrate from 1984 to 1988. He has given many civic hours to YMCA Board, United Way, Fossil and Prairie Conservation Foundation, Rotary and the Charles City Public Library Board of Directors.
