The First Security Bank & Trust Board of Directors and President/CEO Kurt Herbrechtsmeyer are happy to share news of Deb Moore's promotion.
Moore, who works at the Riceville office, has been promoted to BSA Compliance Specialist. She’s also been appointed as the Assistant BSA Officer by the First Security Board of Directors. In her new role, she will assist the BSA Officer with the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC programs. She will primarily be responsible for the day to day monitoring and reporting of all BSA items.
Moore has worked in banking for nearly 30 years, starting with First State Bank in Riceville. In the beginning of her career, she covered many responsibilities as required for a smaller bank. These duties ranged from bookkeeping and personal banking to loan operations and compliance, to name a few. After First State Bank’s merger with First Security in 2009, her role became more specialized. From 2010 to 2012, she worked as a Real Estate Loan Administrative Specialist in Charles City and, in 2012, she became the Compliance Specialist in Charles City. In 2014, she moved back to the Riceville office and, in 2016, she took on additional duties as First Security’s BSA Coordinator.
First Security Bank & Trust has locations across North Central Iowa and headquarters in Charles City. Member FDIC.
