First Security Announces Schoenfeldt and Rindahl Promotions

The First Security Bank & Trust Board of Directors and President/CEO Kurt Herbrechtsmeyer are pleased to announce the promotions of Lacy Schoenfeldt and Dannette Rindahl.

Schoenfeldt has been promoted to Retail Lending Specialist. In this role, she will provide support to the Retail Lenders and Advisors. This will include general administrative duties, customer relations, and branch support as it relates to retail lending.

Schoenfeldt joined the First Security loan department in 2014 and has worked in several capacities within that area ever since. Her transition to Retail Lending Specialist will be her second promotion since starting at First Security. She is a native to Charles City, and is a graduate of both Charles City High School and NIACC.

When not at work, Schoenfeldt enjoys relaxing, being outdoors, camping, and spending time with her family.

Rindahl has been promoted to Loan Operations Specialist. In this position, she will be required to maintain a strong understanding of loan management and documentation. Additionally, she’ll be a resource to her coworkers for First Security’s core systems and will coordinate the exchange of information with regards to the loan operation function of the bank.

Rindahl started at First Security in 2009 when she moved to Charles City. In 2018, she moved to Litchfield, Minnesota where she spent a year working for a bank there. In 2019, she was hired at First Security as a remote employee. Throughout the years, and at both banks, Rindahl has worked in loan operations.

Rindahl studied Business Administration in college. She is active in her church and enjoys being outdoors as well as reading.
