First Security Supports Howard County D.A.R.E. with $500 Donation

First Security recently contributed $500 toward the Howard County Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.®) Program. Howard County Deputy, Richard Hollenbeck, teaches more than 100 5th and 6th grade children as well as nearly 250 middle and high school students. His most recent training has involved educating high school age students on opioid and vaping abuse.

“I’m grateful for the public’s donations. By supporting our local D.A.R.E. program, you are contributing to the well-being and betterment of our community’s youth,” said Deputy Hollenbreck.

Deputy Hollenbreck also offers presentations to community members and adults.

Donations are used for educational supplies, including those pictured here.
