First Security Welcomes Baylee Crow and Kyle Olson

The First Security Bank & Trust Board of Directors and President/CEO Kurt Herbrechtsmeyer are pleased to announce that Baylee Crow and Kyle Olson have joined the First Security team in Charles City. Baylee joins First Security as a Service Center Specialist, and Kyle has filled the Head Teller position.

As a member of the Service Center team, Baylee will provide customers with a one-stop customer service experience. She will aid in many areas which include providing information about deposit and loan accounts, debit cards, online banking, and safety deposit box opening and access. She will also work on fraud situations and account reconciliation.

Baylee is originally from Sioux City, where she graduated from Sioux City’s East High School. She later attended Southeastern Community College in West Burlington before eventually ending up in Nashua to live closer to her significant other. She joins First Security with years of retail experience and customer service experience. Her most recent job involved phone verifications on behalf of nationwide lienholders and lenders to confirm adequate coverage for vehicles on loan.

In her free time, Baylee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and playing video games. She aspires to be a better cook and spend more time outdoors as she learns more about the surrounding communities.

As Lead Teller, Kyle Olson will be involved in providing customer service and handling a wide range of customer transactions. He’ll also participate in the training of Tellers and serve as an ongoing resource for his coworkers.

Kyle grew up in Humboldt. He graduated from high school there before attending Iowa Central Community College for his AA degree. He then attended Buena Vista University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in financial decision making.

While attending Buena Vista University, Kyle worked at Kwik Star in Osage. Prior to that, he worked at the Verizon Wireless store in Osage.

Outside of work, Kyle volunteers as a small group leader as well as a high school group leader at Prairie Lakes Church in Osage. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, caring for their pets, watching comic book movies and TV shows, as well as carpentry. During the summers, he joins his father in law in restoring and riding 1970s Honda motorcycles.
