The First Security Bank & Trust Board of Directors and President/CEO Kurt Herbrechtsmeyer are pleased to announce that Matt Bradley has joined First Security as Assistant Vice President, Marketing Manager. This position was open due to Penny Gray’s upcoming retirement in April. In this role, Bradley will be responsible for leading all marketing efforts at First Security.
Bradley joins First Security with 16 years of experience in television broadcasting, spending 6 of those years with KIMT as the Main Anchor and Executive Producer. Two years ago, he decided to bring his marketing skills to the finance industry, and he began a new career as a marketing director for a Mason City financial institution.
“We are very excited about Matt’s background in broadcasting, communication, and marketing and are looking forward to the energy and creativity he’ll bring to our Marketing Department,” commented Herbrechtsmeyer.
Bradley has also been an active volunteer. Currently, he is the President of the Board of the Charlie Brown Preschool and Childcare in Mason City and is a past member of the promotions committee of Main Street Mason City. He is also part of a group that volunteers to assist with public emergency response in Cerro Gordo County. Additionally, he has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, My Happy Haven, My Happy Place, and has worked with Our Loving Children…At Play, an organization that worked to create a playground designed for children with special needs.
Bradley was born in Algona, grew up in California, and then moved to Minnesota to attend St. John’s University. Since then, he has remained in the Midwest. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, ages 9, 5, and 3 months. They enjoy doing outdoor activities as much as possible—Bradley even spent one winter learning how to ski jump! He also enjoys grilling, golf, music and reading.
