On June 26th, 2017, our online banking site will be receiving an upgrade. We will continue offering the same great services with new enhanced options.

  • Quick Pay – pay bills right from your home page
  • Account Research – Search transactions by check number, date, amount, or transaction type
  • Spending Categories – with Online Banking’s spending reports, you can categorize your spending and display charts to help with budget goals

Why is First Security making a change to online banking?
We want to continue to provide our customers with great online services and products. The new online banking site will be easier to navigate and will be even more user friendly. For example, Bill Pay has been integrated onto the home page with quick access to Popmoney, an easy way to perform Person to Person transfers. You will also have the opportunity to categorize your transactions and create spending reports. The ability to chat with a bank employee will still be available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to noon on Saturdays.  

Will my username be changed?
No, your username will remain the same. The only change to your username is it will be converted to all lowercase. For example, if your username is currently JDoe3$, on June 26th you will login with jdoe3$.

Will my password be moved to the new online banking system?
Your password will not be converted when we switch to the new system. For your first time logging in, enter your username (as noted above) and your temporary password, which will be fsbt plus the last four digits of your Social Security Number (i.e. fsbt1234). Once you enter your temporary password, you will be asked to reenter it before being prompted to change your password.

Are there any requirements for my new password?
Yes, your password must be at least 8 characters and must contain at least one letter, one number, and one special character.

If I use Bill Pay, will I need to retype all my vendors or recurring payments?
No, all your current Bill Pay information will transfer over since we are using the same vendor.

Will the Online Banking link I saved as a favorite/bookmark still work?
No, the link will be changing. You will want to delete that favorite/bookmark. When we are live on June 26th, you will want to navigate to the First Security website and click on the gold ‘Online Banking Login’ link on the top right of the homepage and reset it as a favorite/bookmark.

Will this affect my mobile banking app access?
Current mobile banking customers will need to login to the new Online Banking site and set their new password.  Once that has been completed, they will just need to use their username (all lowercase) and their new password in the Mobile Banking App.

How much account history will I be able to view on the new Online Banking site?

On June 26th, you will be able to see 100 days of account history. As time progresses and history builds, you will be able to see 18 months of account history.
