  1. What changes do customers need to make as a result of this?

    Customers may continue banking with us without making any changes.

  2. Will customers’ debit cards still work?

    Yes. There will be no interruption of banking services.

  3. What’s happening with safe deposit boxes?

    All safe deposit box customers are being contacted directly with information about the move to the new location.

  4. What will happen with the current location in downtown Manly?

    It’s vital to us to continue to be a strong proponent of Manly.  We donate thousands of dollars each year to Manly-area community events, causes, projects, and charities.  With that in mind, we will continue to support this community, and we have been working for several months to arrange a purchase of our current location while ensuring the new owners will be positive members of the community.  We hope to announce more about this transition soon.

  5. What’s in it for me?

    Plenty!  Our new location is more accessible to you.  The parking situation will be easier, the lighting better, the furniture more comfortable, and the computers faster and more reliable.  This means transactions will take less time and customers can get on with their day.

  7. Why is the Manly location moving?

    First Security Bank & Trust’s location in Manly is moving from its current location downtown to a newly-built facility at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 65 for several reasons.  We will now be able to provide state-of-the-art features necessary in a rapidly-evolving banking industry.  The increased visibility of this busy corner will help us grow by being exposed to a larger group of potential customers, which is a necessity in today’s business environment.

  8. Will there be any staffing changes?

    No.  This is not a downsizing or reduction in staff or services.  In fact, you may want to ask our Manly team members about how excited they are to be in a brand new location!

  9. When will the move happen?

    We will be closing our current Manly location after the end of business on Thursday, June 20, and reopen in our new location on Monday, June 24.

  10. Are customer deposit accounts still insured by the FDIC?

    Yes. This does not impact FDIC insurance in any way.

  11. What are the hours of the new location?

    Hours will remain the same for your convenience.  Video banking through our Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) will be available from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday.  The new lobby hours will remain the same: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday.
